Tabea’s sophomore solo Ep “Integrity” which launches at the end of June explores the interlaced themes of an all-consuming love affair and how that same passion fills the heart of an artist in pursuit of their dreams. In a world that constantly demands our attention and predesigns a path for us each to walk, to take the artist’s journey is a brave and daring thing. Tabea’s songs call us home to our deepest desires and to the pursuit of love.
This release will be followed by a session Ep “High Hopes” that was recorded over the course of two days in collaboration with sound engineer Niels Ott. On this Ep Tabea has brought together a brilliant and diverse group of musicians all of whom share her passion and dedication to the craft of music. Featured on this album are Hakim Azmi on keys, Tim Reusch on lead guitar, David Vogel on rhythm guitar, Marco Podobnik on saxophone, Laurens Benesch on bass and Till Waidelich on drums. The Ep explores the universal themes of agency and personhood, the desire to use your voice and give a voice to others. Tabea’s songs call us home to our deepest desires and to the pursuit of love.
